Objective: SWBAT modernize a scene from "Romeo & Juliet" and present the scene to the class.
Do-Now: FREE WRITE (Write 5-7 sentences about anything you want)
Today: 1) Who/what is to blame when a student fails?
2) Class will read article, "For once, blame the student."
3) Class will have debate/discussion surrounding the articles' main points.
4) Group Mini-Project: Scene Modernization
Exit Slip: What are you reactions to the article we read today in class? What points did the article make that you agree with? What points did the article make that you disagree with? Explain. Ultimately, who do you feel is to blame when a student fails?
