Objective: SWBAT modernize a scene from "Romeo & Juliet" and present the scene to the class.
Do-Now: Self-Reflection: What grade do you believe you should receive in this class for this semester? Explain why you feel you have earned this grade.
Today: 1) Your group has until the end of the first class period to prepare your scene. Make sure you have rehearsed your lines and make sure each group member has his/her own copy of the script.
2) Scene Re-Write Presentations
3) Article: How high school decisions can affect your career.
Exit Slip: What are your reactions to the article? What are you planning to do after high school? What decisions have you made this year (or what decisions will you make in the next few years) which you believe will affect your future? Explain.
Homework: Tomorrow is the last day to submit any and all work for this class before grades go in!!!
