Objective: SWBAT identify and correct misplaced and dangling modifiers.  SWBAT review Acts 3-5 of "Romeo & Juliet."  SWBAT find evidence in "Romeo & Juliet" to defend/prosecute a character in the case of Romeo and Juliet's deaths.

Do-Now: You have FIVE minutes to prepare for your quiz on misplaced and dangling modifiers.  Make sure you have a sharpened pencil or pen.  If you have your misplaced and dangling modifier packet, you may use it to help you on the quiz.

Today: 1) Quiz on misplaced and dangling modifiers.

2) Finish reviewing Acts 3-5 of "Romeo & Juliet."

3) Introduction to group project: "Romeo & Juliet" : Who's To Blame?

4) Begin work on your group project.

Exit Slip: What do you believe will be your group's strongest reason to support your client's innocence/guilt? Explain.

Homework: Quiz on Acts 3-5 of "Romeo & Juliet" TOMORROW!!!  Groups must be ready for their trials by WEDNESDAY!!!
