Do-Now: Get your Misplaced and Dangling Modifiers packet from the pile and complete Practice 2 for misplaced modifiers on pg. 209. Read the sample at the top of the page if you are confused.
Today: 1) Go over Practice 2.
2) In groups of 2-3, Read Act 3, Scene 3 of "Romeo & Juliet." The characters in this scene are: Friar Lawrence, Romeo, Nurse. Read Act 3, Scene 3 online HERE.
Exit Slip: Describe Friar Lawrence's reasons for why Romeo should be happy instead of crying like a little girl. Describe the Friar's new plan for Romeo and Juliet.
