Objective: Students will be able to evaluate evidence in order to determine if a defendant is innocent or guilty. Students will be able to answer 80% or more test questions correctly in order to demonstrate their knowledge and understanding of "Twelve Angry Men."
Do-Now: FREE WRITE (Write 5-7 sentences about anything you want)
Today: 1) You have TEN minutes to review for your test on "Twelve Angry Men." You will NOT be able to use your quizzes to help you on the test.
2) Test on "Twelve Angry Men"
3) Extra Credit: Trial Scene: The play "Twelve Angry Men" takes place after the boy's trial has already ended. Write a scene that could have taken place during the trial. The scene could include any of the characters from the play as well as characters who were mentioned during the play (the boy, the old man, the woman across the street, the police, the shopkeeper, etc.) Your scene should be based on information revealed during the jurors' conversation in the play and should be at least two pages long (one page front and back.) Remember to write the scene in play format. This assignment in worth TWENTY points.
