ObjectiveStudents will be able to identify errors in parallelism in order to correct those errors and re-write sentences as parallel.  Students will be able to evaluate primary and secondary sources in order to determine the effectiveness of each.

Do-Now: Read over the front page of your Parallelism packet, then complete the "Check Your Understanding" section on the BOTTOM of the next page.  Follow ALL directions and TRY YOUR BEST!!!

Today: 1) Introduction to Parallelism

2) Parallelism Practices 1 and 2

3) Primary vs. Secondary Sources

4) Class will read the first article on the 1985 MOVE bombings.

5) Class will begin to watch "Let the Fire Burn"
